Summer update /Craft Night

Sorry we haven't kept up with the Blog over the summer, but here's an update to tell you everything Sam and I have been up to over the last few months.

We attended several summer fairs and village shows, offering a children's activity , advertising our Craft nights and Children's Workshops, and selling some lovely handmade creations made by Sam and I.

We entered the Horsell Village show for the first time this year , with a group entry. We had asked the very talented girls at our Children's Workshop to help us with the entry. Sam had planned for us to all make a fabric bird on the sewing machines and then we displayed them on a branch that I found in my local woods, the initial branch was so big I couldn't fit it in my very small car. After a little pruning of the branch into more of a twig, we had an entry for the show, complete with a crochet nest.
To our delight we came first, and will be happy to show anyone and everyone our certificate, I am sure you would have all heard two very loud screams , on the very hot and sticky summer day.

We will be celebrating our first year of running our Craft Night, so our next craft night on Friday 12th September, which is themed 'Party hats and Streamers'.
Come along and try out some great party themed idea's ........ as always there will be plenty of tea and cake.
If you haven't joined us before , we meet at St John's Primary School in Knaphill ,
7.30 -10.30 pm   Entry is £5.00 (this includes materials and tuition)
